Deane Brosnan became involved with young variety through her love of children and her belief that we should 'pay it forward' in life.

A native Australian, Deane is Director of Marketing at the non-profit Women's Project & Productions, the nation's preeminent theater company dedicated to producing and promoting women playwrights, directors and producers. Deane has enjoyed a diverse marketing communications career in a variety of fields, including publishing, hospitality, interior design and television. Previous employers include Peppers Retreats, Resorts & Hotels and The Condé Nast Publications.

Deane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in journalism, communication and cultural studies from The University of Queensland and has completed studies in Speech in Action at the Australian Music Examination Board. Adventurous by nature, Deane loves to indulge wanderlust, read good books and bask in the company of good friends and family.
