VARIETY OF NEW YORK EVENTS - PAPER HEARTS
Our first annual paper heart campaign took place during the week of February 8th-15th, 2009. The A&P family of stores including Pathmark, Walbaums, Food Emporium and Shoprite all participated. Customers were asked to donate $1.00 to Variety the Children’s Charity during their checkout process. Customers were also greeted by “Cousin Brucie” Morrow, Chairman of Variety the Children’s Charity of New York and Radio personality, on the check out monitors in the store. We are pleased to announce that this campaign was a huge success and look forward to doing it again in 2010. Stay tuned for more information.
