Charles B. Moss, Jr., is the third generation of a family-run, century-old real estate and entertainment company that is based in Manhattan and maintains office in Colorado.

Charley, as he likes to be called, is the grandson of the legendary vaudeville impresario B. S. Moss and the son of Charles B. Moss, Sr., a radio and television producer and movie theater owner. Together they've build a family dynasty that has made the Moss name synonymous with show business in New York.

In the entertainment business, where expectations are high, Charley has always stayed ahead of the marketplace. He produced both feature-length films and Broadway theater shows throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Today, Charley and his son, Ben Moss, make up Bow Tie Partners, a real estate and entertainment company that continues the Moss family tradition.

With headquarters on Broadway in Times Square, in the signature Bow Tie Building, Bow Tie Partners combines Charley's love for the arts with this vision in real estate and architectural design. He often looks deep into the soul of a building whose day has come and passed and see what no other developer can imagine. He envisions, plans and resurrects the remnants of yesterday into spaces of new functionality and beauty. 

Charley graduated from the University of Pennsylvania before earning an L.L.B. from the Boston University School of Law. He then attended the Harvard University Masters of Law Program and graduated from the Harvard Business School's Executive Education program. The first job Charley held in the film industry was as a production assitant for E.U.E. Screen Gems.

Charley has served on the Board of Directors of Showscan Entertainment, Inc., a publicly traded, multimedia entertainment company producting simulated film rides. He was also a Director of Robin Cinemas, a British corporation that owns and operates movie theaters in the United Kingdom. He curently serves on the Board of Directors of the Will Rogers Memorial Fund, the Toronto Film Festival and Variety, the Children's Charity.

Among Bow Tie Partner's most recent projects are Merrit 95. an elegantly renovated office building in a sylvan corner of Mitford, Connecticut, and Temple Square, a distinctive luxury apartment complex is downtown New Haven that features two restaurants and a spectacular five-screen, first run art cinema in a landmark location.
